About

Marie de Ganay is an independent curator and art worker based in Brussels. Her practice is research-driven, grounded in ecological and feminist thought, with a particular interest in sound and sensory practices. She curates exhibitions and public programmes, writes critically and is committed to collective forms of solidarity within the cultural field.

Since 2024, she has worked as Production & Project Manager at Le Pavillon and KIKK Festival in Namur, coordinating art-science residencies as well as exhibitions programmes bringing together Belgian and international artists with researchers and scientific institutions. Beyond institutional spaces, she is part of the B.A.O. (Le Bureau des Affaires de l’Ombre), a collective of artists and art workers addressing working conditions and mental health in the sector, and volunteered for Contemporaines, a feminist association advocating for gender equality in contemporary art.

She holds an MA in Curating from Goldsmiths University, London and a BA in Cultural Management form ICART, Paris and has worked across Belgium, France and the UK.
