Marie de Ganay (b. 1993, France) is an independent curator and art worker based in Brussels. Her work weaves together curation, coordination and production of cultural projects as well as writing.

She has held various positions within cultural institutions, including at KANAL – Centre Pompidou (Brussels), the KIKK Festival and Le Pavillon (Namur), where she recently contributed to the production and coordination of exhibitions, conferences and residencies at the intersection of art, science and technology.

Her research begins with the intimate, dwelling on relations between humans and more-than-humans: what it means to live alongside each other, to tend to one another, to grieve together; deep listening as a practice of attention to the world. She approaches curating as a space of experimentation where interdisciplinarity and emotion become methods.

She is a member of the B.A.O. (Bureau des Affaires de l'Ombre), a Brussels-based collective supporting artists and art workers in navigating the realities of the sector.

Her projects have led her to collaborate with l'Espace Croisé (Roubaix), Le Delta (Namur), la Collection Servais (Brussels), l'Été des Serpents (Arles), The Swiss Church (London), ISELP (Brussels), Les Ateliers Mommen (Brussels) and La Malterie Arts Visuels (Lille), among others.

Marie de Ganay holds an MA in Curating from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA in Cultural Management from ICART (Paris).
