A programme of collective readings around the exhibition:
Vulnerable Objectivities in a Garden of Delights and Horrors

In the context of the exhibition Vulnerable Objectivities in a garden of delights and horrors, at the Servais Family Collection in Brussels, I developed and led a programme of Arpentage : collective reading sessions inviting participants to engage with a curated selection of critical texts. 

The methodology draws on the practice of arpentage: a form of collective reading originating in Italian workers' circles in the nineteenth century which approaches complex material through shared comprehension, dialogue, and the pooling of perspectives. Rather than individual study, the method creates an open, collaborative space in which reading becomes a communal and discursive act.

Beyond its pedagogical function, the programme operate as a site of intellectual and social resistance, where each participant contributes to the production of a knowledge that is collective, embodied, and attuned to lived experience. The reading cycle brought together works and texts that question dominant modes of knowledge production and transmission, entering into dialogue with the exhibition's central concerns: ways of knowing that are built through plurality, interdependence, and the acknowledged fragility of perspective.
